Vesting

In crypto terms, vesting refers to the process by which tokens or crypto assets are gradually released over a predetermined period before they can be fully utilized by the holder, investor, team or other stakeholders. Vesting ensures that parties have a long-term interest in the project, as they can't sell all their tokens immediately upon release.

Cliff

In crypto terms, a "cliff" refers to a period of time at the beginning of a vesting schedule during which no tokens or crypto assets are released to investors, team or other stakeholders. It acts as a waiting period before any tokens are vested. Once the cliff period expires, the holder becomes eligible to receive a portion or all of the tokens according to the vesting schedule.

TGE

TGE stands for Token Generation Event. It refers to the initial issuance or creation of tokens on a blockchain platform. During a TGE, tokens are generated and distributed to participants who have contributed funds to the project.

Allocation

In the context of crypto or token sales, an "allocation" refers to the portion of tokens that an investor, participant, or contributor receives as part of the sale. This allocation is usually determined by the amount of funds contributed by the investor relative to the total funds raised during the sale.

FDV

FDV stands for Fully Diluted Valuation. In the context of cryptocurrencies and tokenomics, FDV refers to the total value of a token or cryptocurrency when all tokens that could potentially be created or issued are taken into account.

Launchpool

A launchpool typically refers to a platform or mechanism in the cryptocurrency space where users can stake their tokens to earn rewards. Launchpools are commonly used by cryptocurrency projects as a way to distribute their tokens to the community.

Launchpad

A launchpad in the context of cryptocurrencies and blockchain refers to a platform or service that facilitates the launching of new cryptocurrency projects or tokens. It acts as a platform where early-stage projects can raise funds, gain exposure, and access a pool of potential investors.
